In the Second Plan Monuments Urban Rehabilitation of the city, the "romantic grotto Pantheon Park Quijano, dating from the nineteenth century, has been restored. Repairs cracks, breakage and damage of this construction have recently completed, where the work of consolidation and enhancement of the cave include additional interior lighting and the operation of a closed water circuit simulating a waterfall . The Mayor of Alicante´s, Sonia Castedo, accompanied by the Councillor for Culture, Miguel Valor visited during the park yesterday afternoon to inspect and approve the completion of the rehabilitation of this landmark centenary.
