The mayor of Santa Pola, Miguel Zaragoza, and the director of the Bras Salinas del Port, Miguel Cuervo, yesterday visited remodeling work of Tamarit watchtower, one of the most emblematic of the municipality. The restoration work of this historic monument began two weeks ago and has a budget of over € 24,000. It is mainly based on the comprehensive reform of Aljibe and the fireplace, the recovery of the stalls, walls and pipes and improving the state of internal stairs.
