Almost contemporary and very near to the site, these sites in Luceros 14 and 15 / General Marvá and Belando 13/Quintana buildings that share several characteristics in terms of its facade materials since both have a similar appearance and originally had cloth of brown Facing brick (or honey in the case of Belando) natural or artificial stone window sills and white roofs of terraces covered with wooden slats as it corresponds to the luxury fashion at the time. The railings differ, as in the case of vertical profiles in Belando where painted white prevailed, while in Luceros 14-15 are horizontal, dark in color and at the time were complemented by dark Perspex that has been changing by some owners and replaced by aluminum framed panels.

And as I always say in these cases: the buildings age and require maintenance and that is what it has been done and with very little time difference because while the first network Luceros was placed in summer 2011 and Belando at the end of 2012, the completion of the work was almost joint: last spring 2013.

And it was acted similarly, slab edges have been repaired metal anchors have been restored or replaced, guard rails have been repaired, the stone replaced for Corian, in the case of Belando the false wooden terraces ceilings have changed totally, while in Luceros, it was also repaired and reinforced with slender strips of granulated concrete pillars, and, it was covered with corten steel.

C/Belando 13 - Quintana: a building that I really like. The terrace has on the corner a vertex that follows the planes of the front lines on the side streets. This adds a special air and marks the forcefully meeting between the two facades. It is true that its scale is too large for the width of the streets that is because it was built on 1970, when the ordinances allowed 6 floors, mezzanine and attic around the centre. It has the "oddity" that there is no closure on their terraces.
